For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over the entire surface of the batter.
Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure your bananas are very ripe to maximize moisture and sweetness. For storage, keep the cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
