Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups broccoli florets
1 large carrot, julienned
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp corn starch
2 tbsp water
Green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, corn starch, and water to create the slurry.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through.
Add the broccoli, carrots, garlic, and ginger to the turkey; stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Pour the prepared teriyaki sauce into the skillet.
Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and coats the mixture evenly.
