Description

Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4–5 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until golden; set aside.
Add minced garlic to pan; sauté 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and simmer 2 minutes to deglaze.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning.
Return shrimp to sauce and cook 2 minutes
Adjust salt and pepper.
Notes
Use frozen shrimp if fresh; thaw and pat dry.
Substitute ghee for higher smoke point butter.
For richness, add 1/2 tsp lemon zest.
Serve with al dente pasta or fluffy rice.
Reserve 2 tbsp sauce for future use in halal recipes.
