Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Heat butter and olive oil in skillet over medium-high
Season chicken with salt and pepper, sear 3-4 minutes per side
Remove chicken, melt butter in empty skillet, sauté garlic
Add broth, cream, and parmesan, simmer 4-5 minutes
Return chicken to skillet, baste with sauce
Transfer to oven, bake 8 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F
Let rest 5 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley
Notes
Substitute chicken thighs for breast if desired
Thicken sauce further with 1 tbsp cornstarch slurry if needed
Serve with garlic bread or mashed potatoes
