Flaky puff pastry filled with creamy mascarpone and fresh strawberries, perfect for a light and quick dessert.
Ingredients
2 sheets puff pastry
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla sugar
17.6 oz mascarpone cheese
7 oz heavy cream
3.5 oz powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
10 strawberries
Optional pistachios
Optional chocolate spread
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 356°F (180°C).
2. Cut puff pastry into triangles.
3. Brush with egg yolk, milk, and vanilla sugar.
4. Layer triangles and brush again.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
6. Whip mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla.
7. Slice strawberries.
8. Fill pastries with cream and strawberries.
9. Add optional toppings.
Notes
Use cold cream for best results.
Assemble just before serving for crisp texture.
