Description
Soft, fluffy pumpkin spice donuts baked in the oven rich in flavor, simple to make, and perfect for cozy fall mornings. These baked donuts are filled with real pumpkin, warm spices, and just a touch of sweetness.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
1 cup pumpkin purée (not pie filling)
¾ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and lightly grease a donut pan.
2. Whisk flour, baking powder, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin purée, brown sugar, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
5. Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each ¾ full.
6. Bake for 15–17 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Let cool for 5 minutes, then remove and coat with cinnamon sugar or glaze.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil and almond milk.
Serve warm with coffee or hot cider for the perfect autumn treat.
