Description
A creamy and spicy One Pot Cajun Chicken Alfredo Orzo with tender chicken, bold Cajun flavors, and a silky Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb diced chicken breasts
1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1.5 cups orzo
3 cups chicken broth
1.25 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and sauté until browned.
2. Remove chicken and add butter and garlic to the pot.
3. Toast the orzo for 1 minute.
4. Add broth and simmer until orzo is tender.
5. Stir in cream and Parmesan.
6. Return chicken to pot and season to taste.
7. Serve warm with parsley.
Notes
Adjust Cajun seasoning based on heat preference.
Add spinach or sausage for variation.
