Description
Savory Korean Mayak Eggs made with soy sauce, garlic, and sesame for a bold marinated egg side dish.
Ingredients
6 large eggs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp minced garlic
3 chopped green onions
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
1. Boil eggs for 6-8 minutes depending on yolk preference.
2. Transfer to ice bath and peel.
3. Mix soy sauce, water, sugar, garlic, green onions, sesame seeds, and sesame oil.
4. Submerge eggs in marinade.
5. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
Notes
Jammy yolks absorb marinade better.
Store refrigerated up to 4 days.
