Healthy masoor dal chilla made with red lentils, packed with protein and perfect for a quick breakfast.
Ingredients
Scale
1 cup split red lentils
3 cups water
1 green chilli
1 inch ginger
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp cilantro
2 tbsp oil
Instructions
1. Soak lentils for 4 hours.
2. Blend with spices into batter.
3. Rest batter 5 minutes.
4. Cook on pan until golden.
5. Flip and cook both sides.
Notes
Adjust spice level as needed.
Serve fresh for best taste.
