Description

Ingredients

250g halloumi cheese

3 tbsp olive oil

¼ cup honey

1 tsp chili flakes

½ tsp smoked paprika

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt to taste


Instructions

1. Slice the halloumi into 1 cm thick slices.

2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat with olive oil.

3. Fry each slice for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.

4. In a small saucepan, combine honey, chili flakes, paprika, and lemon juice; heat gently.

5. Drizzle the warm honey glaze over the halloumi immediately.

6. Serve hot with herbs or sesame seeds for garnish.

Notes

Best served immediately after cooking.

Use leftover honey glaze on roasted vegetables or grilled chicken.
