Festive Holiday Pigs in a Blanket with puff pastry, Dijon mustard, and honey glaze a Christmas appetizer perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
2 puff pastry sheets
24 cocktail sausages
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey
1 beaten egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
2. Cut pastry into strips.
3. Spread mustard, wrap sausage, seal edge.
4. Brush with egg and bake 20–25 min.
5. Brush with honey, sprinkle pepper, and serve warm.
Notes
You can prepare these a day ahead.
Add cheese or bacon for extra flavor.
Serve with cranberry mustard or aioli dips.
