A high-protein honey garlic shrimp recipe made with fresh garlic, soy sauce, and honey. Quick, healthy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Whisk honey, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl.
2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in skillet and cook garlic for 30 seconds.
4. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Pour sauce into skillet and cook until thickened.
6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Do not overcook shrimp.
Serve with cauliflower rice for a lower carb option.
Store leftovers up to 3 days.
