Soft buttery biscuits baked in butter with savory ham and melted cheese, ideal for brunch or breakfast.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450°F and melt butter in a baking dish.
2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
3. Stir in buttermilk until combined.
4. Fold in ham and cheese.
5. Pour batter into melted butter and score lightly.
6. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden.
Notes
Let biscuits rest before slicing.
Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days.
