Description
A simple ginger water recipe made with fresh ginger, lemon, and honey. This warm detox drink is quick, healthy, and refreshing.
Ingredients
2 cups hot water
1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp honey
Instructions
1. Slice the fresh ginger into thin disks.
2. Bring water and ginger to a boil.
3. Cover and reduce heat, let steep for 8-10 minutes.
4. Remove ginger pieces from water.
5. Add lemon juice and honey.
6. Stir well until honey dissolves.
7. Serve warm or let cool before serving.
Notes
Adjust honey to taste.
Cool before serving to children.
Can be served chilled.
