Description

A simple, tangy, and perfectly balanced homemade cranberry sauce recipe infused with citrus zest and cinnamon  ready in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients

12 oz fresh cranberries

1 cup sugar

1 cup orange juice or water

1 tsp orange zest

1 cinnamon stick

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Instructions

1. Combine orange juice and sugar in saucepan; dissolve sugar.

2. Add cranberries and cinnamon; bring to a gentle boil.

3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until berries pop.

4. Add zest and vanilla; stir gently and remove from heat.

5. Cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Can be prepared up to 7 days in advance.
