Soft and chewy chocolate crinkle cookies with rich cocoa flavor and a classic powdered sugar finish.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
1. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
2. Mix sugars and oil until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla.
3. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until dough forms.
4. Cover and refrigerate dough for 2 hours.
5. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
6. Roll dough into balls and coat in powdered sugar.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cracked and set.
Notes
Chilling the dough helps create the crinkle effect.
Avoid overbaking for a chewy center.
