Juicy spiced chicken shawarma served with creamy garlic sauce, perfect for wraps, bowls, or quick Mediterranean dinners.
Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp cinnamon
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Mix olive oil and spices to create marinade.
2. Add sliced chicken and marinate 30 minutes.
3. Cook chicken in skillet until golden.
4. Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice and salt.
5. Serve chicken in warm pita with garlic sauce.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for juicier shawarma.
Add cucumbers and tomatoes for freshness.
