A crispy baked Chicken Parmesan recipe featuring parmesan-crusted chicken, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella for an easy family dinner.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken breasts or tenders
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup grated parmesan
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup parmesan
Olive oil or spray
Fresh basil
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
2. Set up flour, beaten eggs, and parmesan-breadcrumb bowls.
3. Coat chicken in flour, egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
4. Bake at 425°F for 18–22 minutes.
5. Top with marinara and cheese, bake 5–7 minutes.
6. Garnish with basil and serve.
Notes
Use panko for extra crunch.
Double the recipe for a large group.
