Description
Crispy cabbage fritters made with shredded cabbage, carrots, eggs, and spices. Perfect fried or oven baked and keto friendly.
Ingredients
16 oz shredded cabbage
2 medium-small carrots, grated
2-3 scallions or 1 small onion, finely chopped
3 large eggs
4-5 tbsp flour (or almond flour for keto)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground coriander (optional)
3-4 tbsp ghee or oil for frying
Instructions
1. Place shredded cabbage in a large bowl.
2. Add grated carrots and chopped scallions.
3. Mix in eggs, flour, garlic, and seasonings.
4. Form mixture into small patties.
5. Heat oil in skillet and fry 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
6. Alternatively bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes flipping halfway.
Notes
For keto version use almond flour.
Squeeze excess moisture from cabbage for extra crispiness.
